Eco Jewellery

Babareki Beads online Studio Gallery bringing you the latest in eco friendly designer bead jewellery.

Babareki Beads needed a new site to allow them to display their unique beaded jewellery to the world. Graphic design required an eco friendly theme to showcase the custom handmade jewellery. Shopping cart features were required to allow the public to purchase securely online.

Working with Jonathan Clough from Cedars Digital we moulded the open source shopping cart solution osCommerce into a highly customised jewellery site.

Customers accessing the public site can:

• Maintain their accounts such as address book for multiple shipping and billing addresses
• View their order history and order statuses
• Fast and friendly quick search and advanced search features
• Display what other customers have ordered with the current product shown
• Accept numerous offline payment processing (cheque, money orders, offline credit card processing)

A secure administration area allows Babareki Beads to manage the site in a user friendly / non-technical manner. Administrators can:

• Add/edit/remove categories, products, customers, and reviews
• Print invoices and packaging lists from the order screen
• Access statistics for products and customers
• Flexible tax implementation on a country basis (default to GST rate for Australia)
